PHOTO: Brent Seabrook shoots puck through Soldier Field uprights
With the NHL showing the rink layout for the Soldier Field outdoor game, Brent Seabrook took the chance to shoot a puck through the upright.
On Thursday the NHL took the time to hold a press conference in Chicago's Soldier Field since there is an outdoor game coming up there this season between the Blackhawks and Penguins. There was nothing new at all to come out of the short gathering and it seemed almost more like a chance to plug top sponsor Coors Light more than anything else.
As usual they laid out the rink with boards on the playing surface and it's no surprise where it will be; right down the middle of the field like every other hockey game in football stadiums.
So really nothing came out of it, really. Well, except for this photo of Brent Seabrook shooting the puck through the uprights. What a cool photo, especially when you spot the puck flying through mid-air amongst the seats in the background.
The game will be played on March 1 at 8 ET, so under the lights in what should be a very cold night in Chicago.
