PHOTO: Brian Elliott's goalie mask got crushed
St. Louis Blues netminder Brian Elliott's goalie mask apparently got run over somehow.
If you know anything about goalies, you know how particular they can be about their equipment. So you have to wonder how St. Louis Blues netminder Brian Elliott felt when he found out his mask was apparently crushed somehow. Details are scant at this point about what happened, but Elliott’s mask is most definitely totaled.
Elliott seems to be taking it in stride with this light-hearted tweet. Warning, some may consider these images to be graphic in nature. And by some, I mean goalies.
Elliott’s mask designer at Head Strong Grafx shared more photos of the damage, mentioning also that he’d be getting to work on painting a new mask for the St. Louis Blues netminder.
You really hate to see such a beautiful mask go before its time. Let's just hope it's in a better place now.
