PHOTO: San Jose Sharks spend vacation by catching real shark
With the NHL on break, members of the Sharks went fishing and somewhat ironically left with one big shark.
When it comes to catching actual sharks, Nazem Kadri has nothing on the San Jose Sharks.
For those NHL players not in Sochi representing their countries, it's time to relax, a rare in-season vacation. Many players have escaped the cold that has wrapped USA and Canada for warmer climates, places where you can go fishing and bask in the sun.
That's exactly what Sharks teammates Andrew Desjardins, Tommy Wingels, Raffi Torres and captain Joe Thornton and boy did they leave the water with a whopper. Check this out from former Shark Owen Nolan's Twitter account.
Now I'm no sea-life expert but I don't have to be to tell you that's a pretty big shark right there. The fight to bring that on the boat must have been intense, at least moreso than the shark that Kadri reeled in down in Florida recently.
