PHOTO: Viktor Fasth modernizes Guy Hebert mask for Stadium Series
Viktor Fasth is bringing back his Guy Hebert tribute mask for the Stadium Series. Sort of. It's been updated into the Ducks' current color scheme.
Ducks goalie Viktor Fasth's mask is going to be different too. Familiar, but different.
Early this season Fasth had a mask especially made for the Mighty Ducks throwback game, a mask that paid tribute to Guy Hebert's mask 20 years ago. It was donned in the old Ducks colors, eggplant and teal, and the design was the same too.
For the outdoor game, the Hebert mask is coming back but with a twist. It has been updated into the Ducks' colors of today, black and orange. Considering this is the Stadium Series, there is also a touch of chrome and of course the Stadium Series logo. It does keep the old school Ducks logo on the top of the mask, however, so that's awesome.
