Stadium Series: Photo tour of Blackhawks, Penguins outdoors
A look at the sights from Soldier Field for the NHL's Stadium Series game between the Chicago Blackhawks and Pittsburgh Penguins.
CHICAGO -- A snowy Soldier Field was the setting for yet another NHL outdoor game. The Chicago Blackhawks and Pittsburgh Penguins did the best they could to entertain a crowd of 62,921. Though play was frequently halted to bust out the shovels, the freezing crowd seemed to rather enjoy the spectacle before them.
The Blackhawks did, too, apparently. The home side brought an explosive offense to the tune of a 5-1 victory over the Pens.
