Stanley Cup Final: Vegas favors Kings over Rangers with 10-17 odds
The Kings are big favorites to win the Stanley Cup Final, that includes from the odds-makers too. Bovada has the Kings at 10-17 odds to win while the Rangers are at 3-2.
Thanks to Alec Martinez's overtime winner in Game 7 on Sunday night, the Stanley Cup Final is set. The Los Angeles Kings will take on the New York Rangrs seeking their second Cup in a span of three seasons.
And as was to be expected, the Kings are big favorites according to the odds-makers at Bovada.
Combine home-ice advantage -- which is very unusual for the Kings -- with their strong make-up and being the team to emerge from the Western Conference, LA is a 10-17 favorite (-170) to win the Cup.
The Rangers, meanwhile, are at 3-2 (+150) to win the series which might not seem like long odds but compared to their opponents', are. Certainly the Rangers have their work cut out for them but being underdogs might suit them well as we have already seen this postseason.
Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final will be Wednesday in Los Angeles.
