BOSTON -- Brandon Saad was at the center of just about everything that happened during the first period of Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final.

First, with the Blackhawks on the penalty kill, Saad set up Michal Handzus on an odd-man rush with a fantastic pass for a shorthanded goal to open the scoring.

Plays like that are what get a rookie forward more time on the penalty kill.

Unfortunately for Saad and the Blackhawks, this happened on Chicago's next penalty kill.
