VIDEO: Chicago TV anchor gives Blackhawks towels to Bruins fans
A sports anchor from Chicago went to Boston for the Stanley Cup Final bearing gifts: Blackhawks rally towels. They weren't very welcome.
One of the great features of the local news is seeing how they treat things when local teams make runs to the championship. Sometimes you get some pretty wacky segments; other times they turn out pretty good. This one turned out pretty good.
WGN's Pat Tomasulo traveled to Boston as the series shifts to Beantown, and he brought some gifts with him from Chicago: namely Blackhawks rally towels. Tomasulo goes around Boston trying to give them out but is greeted pretty much how you would expect from Bruins fans.
Oh, and it might be a bit cliche, but the Cheers music is just a perfect touch. Well done, WGN.
