VIDEO: Dan Boyle goes coast-to-coast against Minnesota
In the weeks leading up to the NHL trade deadline, there was some talk that the San Jose Sharks might trade defenseman Dan Boyle. It was probably a good thing that they didn't. Witness his performance on Wednesday night against the Minnesota Wild.
Even at 36, he's still a very productive player. And he still has some incredible wheels from the blue line. That was all on display in the first period of Wednesday's game against the Minnesota Wild, when he went on this coast-to-coast rush during a 5-on-3 power play and completed it with his sixth goal of the season.
And the Wild defense didn't really seem to do much to stop him.
