VIDEO: Girl gets taste of a game on Canadiens bench, literally
A young Montreal Canadiens fan got a taste of the NHL on Saturday night ... by sticking her tongue through the boards and into the bench area.
Kids all across Canada dream of getting a taste of the NHL. For almost every child, that dream is not meant to be taken literally. Almost.
One little girl in Montreal had some prime seats for the Canadiens' game against the Sharks on Saturday night, right behind the Habs bench and coach Michel Therrien. Apparently that wasn't close enough to really taste it so she took matters into her own
hands mouth and stuck her tongue through the boards and into the Habs bench.
What amazes me is that Therrien doesn't react to this one bit. I mean I know coaches and players have great focus but that seems like it would be awfully hard to avoid, especially when it's right next to your head.
I'm just glad the bench wasn't frozen from the nearby ice. Her move would have required a triple dog dare.
