VIDEO: Halifax Mooseheads use ice for cool pregame display
The Halifax Mooseheads in the QMJHL have taken the on-ice projection game to a new level in the playoffs with a cool pregame show.
The hockey played by the Halifax Mooseheads in the QMJHL is pretty good, especially over the past couple of years when they have had both Nathan MacKinnon and Jonathan Drouin. Their pregame introduction? It's even better.
A big white sheet of ice makes for a pretty great projection screen as we've seen in the past but the Mooseheads have kind of taken it to the next level in the QMJHL playoffs.
From pretty awesome 3D effects to showing highlights to pump up the crowd and the other neat effects and writings they display on the ice, it makes for a pretty sweet introduction.
It's a good thing the Mooseheads waited until the light show was done before they hit the ice, though; the last thing they want is some nausea to start the game.
