VIDEO: Luke Schenn returns after taking slap shot to face
Luke Schenn was cut after taking a slap shot to the face, but ended up returning to the game.
Midway through the second period of Saturday's Flyers-Jets game, Philadelphia defenseman Luke Schenn was cut on the forehead when he was hit in the face by a slap shot off the stick of Tobias Enstrom.
(This is what he looked like coming off the ice -- warning, there's a lot of blood.)
Schenn ended up returning to the game to finish the period, which is more than can be said for the rest of his teammates as the Flyers gave up four goals in the final eight minutes of the period.
