Patrice Bergeron has solidified himself in Boston sports lore with his performance in Game 7 of the Bruins’ first-round Stanley Cup Playoffs series with the Toronto Maple Leafs.

After scoring the incredible game-tying goal to complete the Bruins amazing comeback in the third period, Bergeron one-upped himself in overtime. Taking advantage of a rebound out front, Bergeron had a lot of net to shoot at, and he made it count.

The Bruins were 1:22 away from their season ending. Instead, they’ll advance to meet the Rangers or Capitals in the next round and Patrice Bergeron will never have to buy a dinner in Boston for a long time.
