The St. Louis Blues rolled over the New York Islanders on Thursday night, but it wasn't always as pretty as the 5-1 score line would indicate. That's thanks mainly to Patrik Berglund's hilarious second-period shot attempt.

The Blues forward had plenty of time and space to let go a big slap shot from the top of the circles. He got himself in position, raised his stick high behind him and let it ... whiff. Berglund missed the puck completely and ended up falling almost flat right on his face.

The St. Louis Blues broadcast team, led by color analyst Darren Pang, could not contain their laughter. Who could?

The sad thing for Berglund, who has just one goal in 24 games this season, is with the way Anders Nilsson was playing between the pipes, if Berglund hit the net, it probably would have gone in.
