Rich Peverley has been released from the hospital prior to his trip to Cleveland for surgery on his heart so on Thursday he rejoined his team for the afternoon.

Peverley's season is unfortunately done, that announcement made yesterday. Still, that didn't stop Peverley from showing up at the Stars' practice to take things in and say hi to his teammates again.

Certainly it was good for the Stars to see Peverley back and looking good. It certainly seemed to perk up Alex Chiasson, who missed the game after Peverley's collapse on the bench, so shaken up by the incident.

The Stars have only played one game since Peverley's scary situation, a 3-2 overtime win in St. Louis. They don't hit the ice again for a game until Friday night against Calgary.
