VIDEO: Taylor Hall ejected for kneeing Cal Clutterbuck
Edmonton Oilers forward Taylor Hall was ejected for kneeing Minnesota Wild forward Cal Clutterbuck on Thursday night.
The NHL is sure to take a close look at the hit, and Hall, arguably Edmonton's best player, could be facing a suspension. Especially since Clutterbuck suffered an injury on the play, an important variable in how much punishment the league hands out (whether that's right or wrong is up for debate, but it's definitely part of the process).
The Oilers' next game is Saturday, at home against the Coyotes. Any suspension would have to be handed out before then.
