VIDEO: Two members of LA Kings Ice Crew to be on 'Amazing Race'
After Bates and Anthony Battaglia won 'The Amazing Race' last season, two more hockey reps will run; two ladies from the Kings Ice Crew.
In the last season of the Amazing Race, former NHL player Bates Battaglia and his hockey-playing brother Anthony were first to cross the finish line, winning the race and the $1 million prize that comes with it.
As the defending champ, if you will, hockey will be given a chance to defend its race title. No, it won't be with players either past or present but instead two members of the LA Kings Ice Crew. Meet Ally and Ashley.
I have a feeling that these two will be fan favorites for more than just hockey fans.
The cast for the upcoming season will almost form a battle between sports as baseball wives Kim DeJesus and Nicky Getz will be racing as well as former Texans players Chester Pitts and Ephraim Salaam. May the best sport win (sort of).
The season premier of The Amazing Race will come on Sunday, Sept. 29 on CBS.
