The last time the Anaheim Ducks and Colorado Avalanche met, Patrick Roy celebrated his first win as an NHL head coach by nearly breaking down the glass partition between the benches. The Ducks were back in Denver on Friday night and forward Corey Perry wasn't going to take any chances.

As the game got rather heated between the two sides, Perry was told to move his way down the other end of the bench in order to decrease between-the-benches chatter. Before he left, however, he did a little inspecting of the partition. (video via Jen Neale of Puck Daddy)

He must have been satisfied with its stability, because it didn't fall out and he kindly moved along.

You may recall Perry was one of the Ducks players yapping at Roy (or vice versa) the last time around that ended in the untimely end of the glass partition at Pepsi Center all those months ago (seriously, opening night feels like a lifetime ago).

Perry may be one of the most talented and productive players in the league, but he's also one of its elite trolls. This might be some of his best work.
