WATCH: Devils' Taylor Hall breaks his stick then scores on one-armed breakaway

Taylor Hall knows how to work with the hand-me-downs.

After his stick snapped on a deep one-time shot against the Philadelphia Flyers on Thursday night, the New Jersey Devils’ quick-thinking left winger swooped over to the bench, grabbed a replacement stick and went on his way.

Hall finished in stumbling, albeit spectacular, fashion, racing back to the puck before stealing it and taking it all the way to the net, where he slipped it past the Flyers’ Steve Mason with a one-armed reaching effort:
