WATCH: Sabres' Patrick Kaleta punches himself in head during fight
Patrick Kaleta of the Buffalo Sabres found himself in a fight on Monday night, and for some reason he punched himself in the side of the head.
Trying to figure out why Patrick Kaleta does some of the things he does on the ice is probably a waste of time. Nobody really knows other than him, and nobody else really wants to know.
Take for example his fight with Ottawa Senators defenseman Jared Cowen late in the first period on Monday night when Kaleta decided to punch himself in the side of the head after Cowen dislodged his helmet.
Watch carefully. It is there. It happened. It happens right after Cowen spins him around and Kaleta's left arm hangs down by his side for a second and then ... bam. Right in the side of the head.
What ... what are you doing?!
