Over the last two-plus seasons, the New York Islanders have celebrated wins with their fans much the same way that Daniel Bryan has been pumping up crowds at WWE events for years now. After a home victory, the Isles will gather at center ice, index fingers skyward and arms pumping up and down to the tune of the crowd gleefully chanting "YES! YES! YES!"

It has really caught on among Isles fans and has become a way for them to bond with the team after wins.

Bryan had been aware of the team's use of his signature chant, but he had never experienced it in person himself. Until Sunday night, that is. The general manager of the WWE's SmackDown was in Brooklyn to take in the Isles' home opener against the Anaheim Ducks. And did they ever give him a show.

After ending regulation tied 2-2, the Isles didn't wait long to end it in overtime. Josh Bailey scored an absolutely sensational goal, cutting through the Anaheim defense and slipping a puck past goalie John Gibson to give the home team a thrilling win in their opener at Barclays Center.

And what does a home win mean? The perfect time for a "YES!" chant.

This time the originator was in the building to lead the crowd along with the team and Bryan was loving it.

By the way, Bryan is totally on board with the team using the chant. He explained how cool he thought it all was with Shannon Hogan of MSG Network during an intermission interview. Bryan also admitted that Sunday night's game was the first hockey game he has ever been to in his life.

In addition to seats along the glass, Bryan also got a free Zamboni ride and his own moment on the Barclays Center ice.

Not a bad night for the home team and the WWE superstar.
