Player rankings
You may have noticed we've changed the format and formulas for our NHL player rankings.

We decided to scrap our old method because it just wasn't working -- when Sidney Crosby is the league's leading scorer, but ranks fourth among centers, you know something is wrong.

What we've done is rank players based on certain roles they might play on a team -- scorer, playmaker ...(more)

About those team rankings...

There was a mention in the previous thread about changing the rankings system since Sidney Crosby was ranked too low...  What about the Red Wings being ranked the 16th best team, facing off against the 2nd best team, the Calgary Flames.  Something seems a little messed up there, definitely more injustice than having Crosby ranked the 4th best center...
