  • Oilers' Milan Lucic: Collects two helpers in Game 6 victory

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(5/8/17) Lucic picked up a pair of assists and racked up 12 PIM in Sunday's Game 6 win over the Ducks.

Lucic has been a bit of a disappointment in the playoffs so far. After scoring 23 goals in the regular season, he's managed to find twine just twice in 12 playoff games. He does rack up strong hit and PIM totals, but Lucic is barely shooting the puck and hasn't scored at even strength.

Oilers' Milan Lucic: Tallies goal in heartbreaking Game 4 loss

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(5/4/17) Lucic notched a power-play marker, two penalty minutes and a minus-2 rating in Wednesday's 4-3 overtime loss at the hands of the Ducks.

The goal was Lucic's second of the postseason and snapped an eight-game goal drought. Over the course of his 10-year NHL career, Lucic's scoring rates in the regular season and postseason are identical at 0.61 points per game, so his output of four points with a minus-5 rating in 10 playoff games with the Oilers is certainly disappointing. Both of Lucic's goals have come on power plays, but he's averaging just 1.5 shots on goal per game.

Oilers' Milan Lucic: Posts goal, assist in Game 1 loss

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(4/13/17) Lucic scored a goal with an assist and a plus-1 rating in Wednesday's Game 1 overtime loss against the Sharks.

It's not shocking that Edmonton's most experienced player in the playoffs was its best skater in Game 1. After all, he has 27 goals and 66 points with a plus-39 rating in 102 career postseason games. With a second-line role and top-unit power-play time working in his favor, he should be a valuable fantasy asset throughout the Oilers' playoff run.

Oilers' Milan Lucic: Natural hat trick in third period Thursday

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(4/7/17) Lucic scored two power-play goals and an even-strength goal for a natural hat trick in Thursday's 4-2 win over the Sharks.

All three of Lucic's tallies came in the third period, turning a 2-1 deficit into a 4-2 victory. The veteran power forward has lit the lamp in a season-high three consecutive games, totaling five goals over that span. Lucic has done more than half of his damage with the extra man, with 12 of his 23 goals and 25 of his 48 points coming on the power play.

Oilers' Milan Lucic: Making up for poor rating with power-play production

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(3/15/17) Lucic dished out a power-play helper and an even-strength helper in Tuesday's 7-1 win over the Stars.

Lucic has gotten at least one point in six of his past seven games, with three goals and four assists over that span. This effort put the power forward over 40 points for the seventh time in 10 seasons, although he still sits at minus-7 after finishing with a positive rating in each of the previous six seasons. That dip in even-strength production has been compensated for by increased scoring with the extra man, as Lucic has a career-high 19 power-play points after failing to top 14 in any of his previous nine campaigns.
