Oreskovich happy to play in NHL: The Sports Xchange reports Florida made two call ups from its AHL affiliate on Saturday, bringing up Victor Oreskovich and Keaton Ellerby from Rochester. Ellerby was brought up as a precaution for Bryan Allen, but Allen played in his first back-to-back game this season as Ellerby watched from the press box.

Oreskovich, who had quit hockey a few years back citing burnout, made his NHL debut at age 23. Oreskovich played junior hockey for Pete DeBoer, and after deciding to get back into the game, got a tryout with the Panthers this training camp. He did well enough to garner a contract offer from Rochester where he has played well. In Saturday's game, Oreskovich played 13:42 and was a plus-1. "It's absolutely incredible. I really can't describe the feeling," said Oreskovich. "What an amazing opportunity to say I had a chance to play in an NHL game." Still, Oreskovich is nothing more than organizational depth and can be ignored in Fantasy.
