  • Devils' Andy Greene: Back in lineup Saturday

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(3/11/17) Greene (personal) will be back on the ice Saturday against the Coyotes.

Greene missed four games after the passing of his father, but will be back Saturday. Before sitting out, the blueliner recorded one goal and two assists over 12 games. In leagues that value a 200-foot player, Greene also blocked 24 shots in that stretch. The veteran is extremely important to the Devils, recording 22:12 of ice time per game this season, but his fantasy value is best suited for deeper leagues that value blocked shots.

Devils' Andy Greene: Not ready for return Thursday

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(3/10/17) Greene (personal) has joined the team in Colorado, but will not play in Thursday night's game against the Avalanche.

Since Greene just rejoined the team Thursday, it makes sense that he would take a couple days to get reacclimatized with the team and skate in practice before getting back on the ice for a game. The 34-year-old should therefore be considered probable for Saturday's game in Arizona.

    Devils' Andy Greene: Probable Thursday

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(3/7/17) Greene (personal) is expected to return to the lineup for Thursday's matchup with Colorado, Andrew Gross of The Record reports.

Including Tuesday's contest with Columbus, Greene will have missed three games following the passing of his father. The former Miami Redhawk will join the team in the coming days and likely get in a practice or two before reentering the lineup. Expect the Devils' defensive corps to remain unchanged for Tuesday's tilt at Nationwide Arena.

(3/7/17) Greene (personal) is expected to return to the lineup for Thursday's matchup with Colorado, Andrew Gross of The Record reports.

Including Tuesday's contest with Columbus, Greene will have missed the team's last three games following the passing of his father. The former Miami Redhawk will join the team in the coming days and likely get in a practice or two before entering the lineup. Expect the Devils' defensive corps to remain unchanged for Tuesday's tilt at Nationwide Arena.

Devils' Andy Greene: Missing Tuesday's contest

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(3/6/17) Greene (personal) will miss his third consecutive game when the Devils take on the Blue Jackets in Columbus on Tuesday, Andrew Gross of The Record reports.

Not only is Greene set to miss Tuesday's tilt, he did not travel with the team to Columbus. There still isn't any word on the nature of Greene's personal situation, but Gross reports there's a chance that the veteran defender could join the team at a later point during its three-game road trip. If this happens to be the case, expect an additional update from the Devils.

  • April 4, 2015: Nash nets 42nd, Lundqvist sharp, Rangers rout Devils
NEW YORK (AP) The New York Rangers are not only closer to securing home-ice advantage for the playoffs, they are getting there with Henrik Lundqvist almost back in top form just a week after returning from a serious neck injury that sidelined him nearly two months.
April 4, 2015: Devils' Greene Assists In Friday's Victory
Greene registered an assist in Friday's shootout win over the Canadiens.Greene is hanging on to a top-pairing role with the Devils, but has little to show for it this season. With three goals, 22 points, and a plus-3 rating over 78 games, Greene doesn't hold much appeal beyond very deep leagues.
