  • Canadiens' Chris Terry: Agrees to one-year, two-way deal with Habs

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(7/2/16) Terry agreed to terms with the Canadiens on a one-year, two-way contract.

The Hurricanes selected Terry in the fifth round of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft -- he's only appeared in 138 NHL games since then, and went minus-12 with 11 points in 68 contests this past season. Despite exchanging sweaters, the two-way aspect of his contract means he'll almost assuredly bounce between the organizational ranks in 2016-17.

Hurricanes' Chris Terry: Keeps point streak going

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(3/27/16) Terry recorded an assist and two PIM in Saturday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Islanders.

Terry is on an unexpected tear, notching points in five straight. For the few owners that trot the winger out in lineups, three goals and two assists in that span is more than you can ask for -- ride it while you can.

Hurricanes' Chris Terry: Extends goal-scoring streak Thursday

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(3/25/16) Terry scored a goal for the third consecutive game Thursday against the Blue Jackets, giving him five points in his last seven games.

Terry has been seeing a greater level of on-ice responsibility lately, skating on the team's second line with Victor Rask and Jeff Skinner. His ice time in Thursday's game was 14:55, the sixth time in the last seven games he's seen more than his season average of 10:39. He even saw some time on the power play (1:15), something he has rarely done this season. Still, with just 10 points in 60 games, it's hard to chalk this up to anything more than a late-season flourish for Terry, but for those of you in deep formats who own him, enjoy the hot streak while it lasts.

Hurricanes' Chris Terry: Gets first assist of season

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(3/10/16) Terry notched his first assist of the year Thursday in a 3-2 win over Boston.

Hey, he had five goals in the 53 games preceding his first helper, so that's, well... listen, it's hard to be positive here. Once upon a time, Terry put up four consecutive seasons of 59-plus points in the AHL; now 26, he's largely played the part of the Invisible Man on Carolina's fourth line.

Hurricanes' Chris Terry: Frequent healthy scratch for Canes this season

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(1/30/16) Terry played in the Hurricanes' last two games before the All-Star break. Prior to that, he had been a healthy scratch for six consecutive games.

Terry had a somewhat productive season last year with 20 points in just 57 games, however he's fallen further down the depth chart this season and can't seem to secure himself a regular spot in the lineup these days. He is averaging just 10:37 in ice time playing on the Canes' fourth line and doesn't warrant much fantasy consideration in most standard formats.
