  • Blues' David Perron: Running hot toward season's end

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(4/7/17) Perron scored his 18th goal and added a power-play assist in Thursday's 6-3 victory over the Panthers.

It's been a surprisingly productive campaign for Perron, as he's delivered 46 points in 80 contests -- the first time since 2009-10 he's played this many games. Injuries have been a major reason behind his failures in recent years, but Perron hasn't missed a single tilt this time around. He's heading into the end of the regular season on a high note, having picked up three goals and three assists in the last five games.

Blues' David Perron: Rare multi-point home game in win

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(4/2/17) Perron registered a goal and two assists in Sunday's 4-1 home win over the Predators.

It's rare to see Perron record a multi-point game on home ice this season, as the majority of his points have been recorded on the road -- coming into Sunday's game, 28 of Perron's 41 points have occurred while away from Scottrade Center. Lookng ahead, Perron needs just six points to crack the 50-point barrier for the third time in his career. However, there are only four games left on the schedule, so he'll need a big push down the stretch to get it done.

Blues' David Perron: Continues success away from Scottrade Center

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(3/22/17) Perron posted two assists in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Avalanche.

Both of Perron's helpers came on goals by linemate Patrik Berglund. The 28-year-old winger reached the 40-point mark for the sixth time with this performance, with 27 of those 40 coming on the road. Hopefully he can close that gap during his team's upcoming three-game homestand.

Blues' David Perron: Picks up shorty in Saturday's win

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(3/19/17) Perron scored a shorthanded goal and he finished with a plus-1 rating in Saturday's 3-0 win against the Coyotes.

Perron is up to 15 goals on the season, his best total since he lit the lamp 17 times in the 2014-15 campaign with the Oilers and Penguins. He is unlikely to eclipse the career-best 57 points he posted in 2013-14 in Edmonton, but he should be in the 45-point range by the end of the regular season, which would be the fourth-best mark of his career.

Blues' David Perron: Scores in Monday's win

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(3/14/17) Perron scored on his only shot on net in Monday's 3-1 win over the Kings. He added a blocked shot and two hits over 16:09 of ice time.

His second-period goal wasn't pretty, as he kept battling at the net and poked a loose puck under the pad of Jonathan Quick. It was the type of goal coaches love -- a player at the net, putting in the effort. That's not typical of Perron, but that kind of play has been contagious during the Blues' five-game winning streak. The streaky Perron has posted points in four of his last five games.
