Panthers rally past Hedberg: Thrashers G Johan Hedberg couldn't stave off a late rally from Florida Thursday and ended up with the 3-2 loss against the Panthers. Hedberg led for most of the game. Florida tied the game at 2 6:32 into the third before David Booth netted the game winner with 4:25 left. Hedberg, who made 28 saves, lost a second straight start after winning five straight.

Fantasy Analysis

Hedberg had some nice starts down the stretch as Kari Lehtonen battled an upper-body injury, but for the most part, Hedberg was awful in 2008-09. He is 13-12-3 with a 3.51 GAA and .885 save percentage. Hedberg likely won't have a starting job in 2009-10 and will have little to no Fantasy value. The Thrashers TG is a low-end Fantasy option.
