Gazdic (illness) was a full participant in Friday's practice.Gazdic rotated in with Matt Hendricks as the fourth-line left wing during the session, suggesting that he's no longer feeling the effects of the illness that have sidelined him the last two games. Even so, Gazdic has often served as a healthy scratch this season, so it's uncertain when his next chance to play might come.

Gazdic (illness) will not play Wednesday against the Blue Jackets, Jack Michaels of the Oilers Radio Network reports.With Gazdic still suffering from the illness, the Oilers will call up Andrew Miller from AHL Oklahoma City to assume his spot. Gazdic's next chance to play will come Saturday against the Flyers.
