  • Capitals' Zach Sill: Re-signs with Capitals

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(6/30/16) Sill signed a two-year, two-way contract with the Capitals on Thursday.

Sill spent most of last season in the minors, notching 22 points (nine goals, 13 assists) over 63 games with AHL Hershey. The 28-year-old winger will once again provide the Capitals with organizational depth at forward in 2016-17, and won't be a viable option in fantasy.

Capitals' Zach Sill: Sent back to AHL

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(4/11/16) Sill was returned to AHL Hershey on Monday, the Washington Post reports.

Sill's demotion would appear to bode well for the chances of fellow forward Jay Beagle being ready for Thursday's playoff opener against the Flyers.

    Capitals' Zach Sill: Rejoins Capitals

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(4/10/16) Sill was recalled from AHL Hershey on Sunday.

The 27-year-old has nine games under his belt with the Capitals this season, notching a goal over that timeframe. Sill averaged just 9:36 of ice time in his earlier stints, and there's no reason to believe that total will increase enough Sunday for fantasy utility.

Capitals' Zach Sill: Sent back to AHL Hersey

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(2/5/16) Sill has been unable to stick with the Capitals this season and has been reassigned to the AHL on Friday.

Sill is having a rough first season with Washington, as he's appeared in a mere nine contests compared to 63 NHL games in the 2014-15 campaign. Unfortunately, the winger has never been able to produce in the pros having recorded a meager five points in his career.

Capitals' Zach Sill: Recalled from minors

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(2/1/16) Sill was recalled from AHL Hershey on Monday, Isabelle Khurshudyan of The Washington Post reports.

With Alex Ovechkin set to miss Tuesday's game against the Panthers due to a league-mandated suspension for missing the All-Star game and Marcus Johansson (upper body) dealing with an injury, the Capitals need an extra body in their forward ranks, although it's unclear if Sill will actually get any playing time while he's up. He has two goals and nine points in 33 games in the minors this season.
