  • Oilers' Mark Letestu: Racks up four points in Game 6 victory

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(5/8/17) Letestu netted a pair of goals and added two assists in Sunday's Game 6 win over the Ducks.

That's a three-game point streak for Letestu, who has been an X factor for the Oilers this postseason. He plays in the bottom six, but Letestu's main value comes in his short-handed and power-play ice time. Eight of his 11 points this season have come with the man advantage, and while Letestu isn't a major point producer, he's providing to be a solid secondary contributor behind some big names up front in the playoffs.

Oilers' Mark Letestu: Bounces around lineup in Game 5

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(5/6/17) Letestu grabbed an assist and tied for a team-leading six shots in Friday's loss to Anaheim.

Letestu bounced all over the lineup in the double overtime contest. It's not a recipe that's easily duplicated, but he's been finding success in recent games. He's nowhere near being the most valuable player on the team, but he's been a versatile asset in the series. In the first five games of the second round, he's posted two goals, two assists, and an average of 2.6 shots per game.

Oilers' Mark Letestu: Notches two power-play markers

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(4/27/17) Letestu scored two power-play goals during Wednesday's Game 1 win over Anaheim.

The veteran forward plays a key special-teams role for the Oilers, and he's been a surprising playoff producer, collecting three goals and two helpers through seven games this spring. That's a nice follow-up to his career-high 35 points in the regular season, which included 11 goals and three helpers with the man advantage. Letestu checks out as a sneaky source of cap relief in daily contests because of his role on the No. 1 power-play unit.

Oilers' Mark Letestu: Starting to heat up

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(3/1/17) Letestu potted a power-play goal in Tuesday's 2-1 victory against the Blues.

It was the second game-winning tally in eight games for the veteran, who has come alive in February with three goals and seven points over his past eight games. He'll look to extend his goal-scoring streak to three games when the Red Wings come calling in Saturday's home contest.

Oilers' Mark Letestu: Scores sixth power-play goal

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(2/15/17) Letestu contributed a power-play goal and an assist Tuesday against Arizona.

Six of Letestu's 11 goals have come with the extra man, which isn't surprising considering he centers the fourth line at even strength while also skating on the top power-play unit. The 32-year-old forward has reached double-digit goals on six different occasions, but has never scored more than 14. He's currently on pace to top both that mark and his career high of 34 points.
