Simpson was recalled from AHL Rockford on Monday, the Chicago Tribune's Chris Kuc reports.Simpson gets his first call-up of the season, after Corey Crawford suffered a lower-body injury during Sunday's game. As the owner of a 3.38 GAA and .900 save percentage with AHL Rockford this season, Simpson may struggle in the NHL, if he sees any playing time. The 21-year-old Canadian netminder has yet to appear in an NHL game.
