Reinprecht continues scoring outburst: Panthers C Steve Reinprecht scored a goal, tallied an assist and finished at plus-1 during Wednesday's game against the Hurricanes. Reinprecht broke a scoreless tie at 5:09 of the third period. Reinprecht scored his ninth goal of the season when Cory Stillman's wrist shot bounced off his leg and through Cam Ward's pads. Reinprecht has nine goals in his last eight games.

Fantasy Analysis

We have never really seen this type of scoring outburst from Reinprecht, who has hit 20 goals just once in his first eight full seasons. He really seems at home with Florida and could be in for a career season. However, we also wouldn't be surprised if his play starts to level out. Reinprecht continues to gain Fantasy value with each goal.

Reinprecht had just 14 goals in 73 games last season, but he has broken out in the last few weeks with nine goals in an eight-game stretch. Florida will need more offense in its next two games, a home-and-home series with the high-powered Washington Capitals.
