Fantasy Analysis

The Rangers could use McLaren as a lower-pairing defenseman in the event some of their prospects aren't ready for the NHL. He didn't play in the NHL last season and spent the year in the minors as part of the Sharks organization. He was traded to Philly, but failed a physical and was sent back to San Jose. McLaren is definitely a defender more than scorer. If he makes the Rangers' roster, he is going to have minimal Fantasy appeal.
