Hurricanes switch things up offensively: The Raleigh News and Observer reports that Hurricanes C Rod Brind'Amour has moved to the wing and C Eric Staal will now run the point on the power play. "It doesn't really matter," Brind'Amour said about his move to wing on a line with Matt Cullen and Scott Walker. "As long as I'm getting out there, I don't care where it is. It's a little bit of an adjustment. You have to think a little differently. But your responsibilities are not that much different the way our system is."

Brind'Amour had been languishing on the third line until this move, and now goes up to the scoring lines. That should help his offensive production a little bit, but for now he should be benched in all but the deepest of leagues until he starts to pick up the pace a little. Hopefully Staal's move jump-starts his season, which has got off to a sluggish start. Continue to roll with him in as a high-end Fantasy forward in all leagues.
