Brunette chips in seventh goal: Wild LW Andrew Brunette scored his team's only goal during a 3-1 loss to the Blackhawks on Monday. Brunette's power-play goal on a wild scramble in front of the net cut Chicago's lead to 2-1 at 3:29 of the third. It was his second goal in as many games and seventh on the season.

Brunette seems to be the only Wild player grasping coach Todd Richards' offensive system. He has 10 points in 11 games and is pretty much the team's top offensive weapon early in the season.
