Laperriere was a great veteran leader for the Avs, but it became apparent he wasn't returning to Colorado when he issued a statement thanking the Avs fans over the weekend. Laperriere had seven goals and 19 points in 74 games last season. He also totaled 163 penalty minutes, 103 hits and 69 blocked shots. Laperriere should become a fan favorite in Philly, but he is going to be more of a Fantasy flier in leagues that reward heavily for short-handed stats and PIM in 2009-10.
