| "There's a chance because I'm breathing," said Laperriere of his prospects of returning. Despite all his drive and desire, Laperriere is still dealing with post-concussion syndrome and doctors have told him not to return to the ice. His never-ending quest to get back, however, earned him a nomination for the Bill Masterson Memorial Trophy, awarded to the player who exhibits the qualities of perseverance, sportsmanship and dedication to hockey.
