Roloson only has slightly better stats than the other goalie on the island, Martin Biron, but he now has five times as many wins. You have to think the Islanders will go with the hot hand of Roloson a little more often over the next couple of weeks. Still, he's still nothing more than a No. 3 Fantasy goalie or flier in leagues that use average points per game. The Islanders TG is also a low-end option.

Advice

Roloson has allowed at least three goals in six of his seven starts this season, and his GAA may continue to be hurt by the Islanders' young group of skaters. But he stopped 34 of 35 shots in a win over the Rangers on Wednesday and he was outstanding Friday. Perhaps most importantly, he played back-to-back games for the first time this season, indicating that he could be claiming some playing time from Martin Biron.
