Fantasy Analysis

Gill was a key part of the Penguins' march to the Stanley Cup in 2008-09 and formed a shutdown defensive pairing with Rob Scuderi. It's tough for Gill to leave the Pens, but he goes from one contender to another. Gill had 10 points (two goals) and a plus-11 rating in 62 games last season. He has 20-point potential but is still more of a defensive presence. Consider Gill a very low-end Fantasy defenseman in standard formats. He is also worth a look in leagues that reward heavily for short-handed stats and plus-minus rating.
