| Okay, stop laughing now. The Islanders know very well that no one is going to take on that contract. What they are hoping to do is take on another team's bad contract. They could even be willing to part with a draft pick or prospect should a deal be close. That being said, the most likely scenario is for the Isles to buy out DP's contract either this off-season or next. (Updated 6/5/13). |
