LaBarbera loses two-goal lead, game: Coyotes G Jason LaBarbera stopped 22 shots during a 5-3 loss to the Kings on Monday. LaBarbera actually held a 3-1 lead until Ryan Smyth scored the first of two goals with 58 seconds left in the second. Smyth took a shot from the right side that trickled under LaBarbera and along the goal line and then skating around the back of the and tapping the puck into the open left side. "I made a bad play at the end of the period and it kind of changed momentum there," LaBarbera said. "I think that was the turning point in this game." Smyth capped the comeback with an empty-net goal.

Monday's outing was by far LaBarbera's worst with the Coyotes. He came into the game with a 1.59 GAA and .952 save percentage, so he was playing pretty well in his few outings. LaBarbera doesn't see a lot of PT behind Ilya Bryzgalov, so continue to view him as a Fantasy reserve or handcuff option for Bryzgalov owners. The Coyotes TG has become a No. 1 Fantasy option thanks to Phoenix's fast start.
