Trots tweaks lines in Nashville: The Tennessean reports that Predators coach Barry Trotz tweaked the lines at practice on Tuesday. The lines were RW Steve Sullivan, C Colin Wilson and RW Patric Hornqvist; C David Legwand, RW J.P. Dumont and C Dave Scatchard; and RW Martin Erat, C Mike Santorelli and RW Joel Ward. "We're trying to get on something that maybe works," Trotz said. "Not that you don't have a game plan, but sometimes you throw things together."

Fantasy Analysis

With the offensive struggles in Nashville right now, it's really not clear which two lines are the scoring lines and which is the checking line, so it's a little difficult to predict any change in Fantasy value for these guys just yet. Dumont remains the most Fantasy-viable member of the group as a low-end starting forward in 12-team leagues, while Sullivan is definitely worth using in deeper leagues. Hornqvist, Erat, Legwand and Wilson are stashable bench options in larger formats. The other three have minimal value.

RW Stefan Legein, who retired briefly early last season citing a lack of passion, appears to be in fine form only one year later. He had two goals and three assists in the NHL Prospects Tournament in Traverse City, Mich., and will likely start the season with AHL Syracuse. 91/0/2009
