  • Stars' Travis Moen: Broken wrist in playoffs

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(5/13/16) The injury that Moen sustained in Game 5 against the Blues has been specified as a broken wrist.

Moen reportedly has a cast for the injury that prevented him from playing in Games 6 and 7. Of course, even when he was on the ice in the postseason, the role was not substantial. He only averaged 6:43 of ice time in six contests.

Stars' Travis Moen: Done for rest of playoffs

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(5/9/16) Moen (undisclosed) will not be able to rejoin Dallas for the remainder of the playoffs, Mark Stepneski of NHL.com reports.

Moen suffered an undisclosed injury during Saturday's Game 5. In his absence, Colton Sceviour will likely continue to see ice time at left wing.

Stars' Travis Moen: Ruled out for Game 6

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(5/9/16) Moen will be out of the lineup for Monday's Game 6 against the Blues with an undisclosed injury, Mike Heika of the Dallas Morning News reports.

Moen has been relatively unanimous on the ice during this series as he has averaged a meager 6:11 in ice time per night in the previous five meeting with St. Louis. With a paltry two assists on the year, fantasy owners should be unaffected by the veteran's absence. What limited additional minutes will be available will likely be picked up by Colton Sceviour.

Stars' Travis Moen: Activated off injured reserve

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(3/1/16) Moen (lower body) is no longer listed on the IR, per the NHL's official media site.

Moen missed about three weeks with the injury, but he's now received a clean bill of health and will rejoin the club. It's unclear what the winger's role will be, as he's laced up in just 18 games this season -- recording only two points in that span -- so he likely won't see too much time on the ice even when healthy.

Stars' Travis Moen: Expected out Tuesday

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(2/23/16) Moen (lower body) will likely miss Tuesday's contest against Winnipeg, Stars play-by-play announcer Dave Strader reports.

Moen hasn't played much this season, but he had been the top candidate to replace Patrick Eaves (illness, expected to miss) in Tuesday's lineup. It appears that Radek Faksa will draw into the lineup in Eaves' place.
