Peters upset with no Buffalo offer: Enforcer Andrew Peters, an unrestricted free agent, is disappointed he has not received an offer from the Sabres. "I've been in the organization for 11 years," he said. "My home's here, my extended family is here. It's going to be tough to go, but that is part of the game, I guess."

It's very odd the Sabres have not attempted to sign Peters since one of their offseason priorities was to get tougher. Peters has logged 200 games for the Sabres since 2003-04 and 557 penalty minutes. He proved he could bring some grit to the checking line, but Buffalo seems content to part ways. Peters is merely a flier in leagues that reward heavily for PIM when active.
