| G Vesa Toskala won't return, Flames GM Darryl Sutter said. Toskala, acquired at the trade deadline to be a backup for good friend Miikka Kiprusoff, is due to be an unrestricted free agent, and Sutter said won't likely fit into what the club can allow salary-wise or opportunity-wise. "Vesa made it very clear that he wanted to be a one or 1A in the league," Sutter told radio station FAN 960. (Updated 2010611) TSX |
