Fantasy Analysis

It's nice to see Poti healthy to start the season after he dealt with a few nagging injuries in 2008-09. He has yet to live up to his full potential since arriving in Washington in 2007-08. Until he flashes 40-point potential again, Poti remains a low-end Fantasy option.

D Tom Poti battled injuries at times last year, but the Caps played so much better when he was in the lineup and so much worse when he was out. He's really the defensive anchor of this team. Poti also had seven points in the 14 playoff games, a big help to the Caps as they struggled at times on offense, especially against the Rangers. 92/4/2009
