  • Canadiens' Sven Andrighetto: Scores lone goal against Pens

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(1/18/17) Andrighetto scored a goal and registered two shots on net during Wednesday's loss to Pittsburgh.

The 23-year-old winger has been shuttling back and forth between Montreal and the AHL this season and Wednesday's game was just his 15th of the campaign. Andrighetto has flashed offensive upside, and with the Habs dealing with plenty of injuries, he appears set to see top-six looks. However, in most fantasy settings, you're likely better off taking a wait-and-see approach for now. At best, Andrighetto is worth looking at as a low-priced flier in daily contests.

Canadiens' Sven Andrighetto: Multi-point night Wednesday

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(1/12/17) Andrighetto scored a goal and assisted on another in Wednesday's 7-4 win over Winnipeg.

The Habs are starting to get some of their injured forwards back, but not enough to bump Andrighetto from the lineup. He's played all three games since his most recent call up and had a season-high 13:35 of ice time Wednesday. He'll get good minutes on the third line Thursday in Minnesota, but he's on the bubble as the Canadiens look forward to the returns of Alex Galchenyuk (knee) and Andrew Shaw (concussion).

He's played all three games since his most recent call up and had a season-high 13:35 of ice time Wednesday. He'll continue to see good minutes on the third line, but his spot will be in jeopardy when you start hearing about the returns of Alex Galchenyuk (knee) and Andrew Shaw (concussion).

Canadiens' Sven Andrighetto: Will be active Saturday

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(1/7/17) Andrighetto will be in the lineup for Saturday's game against Toronto, Pat Hickey of the Montreal Gazette reports. He'll skate on a line with Tomas Plekanec and Artturi Lehkonen.

Nobody knows the route from St. John's to Montreal quite like Andrighetto, who's been summoned to Montreal five times already this season. This latest promotion comes after the Habs lost Paul Byron (upper body) and Brendan Gallagher (broken hand) to injury during Wednesday's win over Dallas. With Gallagher expected to be out eight weeks, Andrighetto's current stay in Montreal could last longer than his previous four. The 23-year-old has shown offensive flashes during his various stints with the big club going back to 2014, something Montreal desperately needs now while they cope with several injured forwards, and Andrighetto will get plenty of ice time in a top-six role to prove himself.

Canadiens' Sven Andrighetto: Shuttles back to parent club

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(1/5/17) Andrighetto was recalled from AHL St. John's on Thursday, Dave Stubbs of NHL.com reports.

Andrighetto has been a beast offensively in the AHL this season, having scored eight goals to complement 14 assists in just 20 games. His call-up was necessitated by Brendan Gallagher sustaining a hand injury in Wednesday's game against the Senator.

  • December 21, 2014: Montreal's Andrighetto Activated
Andrighetto, who was called up from the AHL on Friday, was in the active lineup for Saturday night's 4-1 win over the Senators.Andrighetto skated on the fourth line, registering one shot on net and a minus-1 in 7:59 of ice time. He gives the fourth line an offensive element. But if he's going to have any fantasy value, it will have to come on the power play, on which he received 2:14 time on ice.
December 19, 2014: Canadiens Recall Andrighetto From AHL Hamilton
The Canadiens recalled Andrighetto from AHL Hamilton on Friday.Andrighetto was sent down just two days ago, but he will return to Montreal to provide some insurance in case Max Pacioretty (upper body) is unable to play in Saturday's game.
December 17, 2014: Habs Reassign Andrighetto
Andrighetto was reassigned to AHL Hamilton on Wednesday, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports.During his four-game stint with the Habs, Andrighetto provided an impressive two goals and an assist, but had seen his ice time drop in each of the last three contests. Still, the Habs have to be pleased with what they saw from the 21-year-old in his first taste of the NHL, so it may not be long before his next promotion comes along.
December 13, 2014: Habs' Andrighetto Scores Second
Adnrighetto scored a goal in Friday night's 6-2 win over Los Angeles. The goal was his second and gives him a point in all three games since being called up.
