Svedberg allowed one goal on seven shots after replacing the ineffective Tuukka Rask in the second period of Sunday's 5-3 loss to the Lightning.Svedberg entered already facing a 4-1 deficit and the lone goal he allowed came on the power play, so he's hardly to blame for the loss. With the Bruins taking aim at a playoff berth down the stretch, Rask was given the nod in both ends of a back-to-back set over the weekend, so Svedberg is unlikely to see too much action in the team's final nine games.

Svedberg stopped 23 of 24 shots Tuesday, but was stuck with a 2-1 shootout loss at the hands of the last-place Sabres.A spot start against the league's worst team had cake written all over it, and Svedberg did put up a .958 save mark and 0.93 GAA in the service of his fantasy owners, but the lack of a win has to sting. Put this one on the Boston offense for failing to get more than one out of 45 shots past opposing netminder Anders Lindback.
