Deslauriers suffers loss Sunday: Jeff Deslauriers made 27 saves in only his second start as the Oilers lost consecutive games for the first time this season during Sunday's 2-0 loss to the Canucks. Michael Grabner opened the scoring on a power play with 2:09 left in the first period, parking himself atop the crease and neatly redirecting Christian Ehrhoff's one-timer from the point through Deslaurier's legs. Henrik Sedin hadn t scored since his twin brother was hurt on Oct. 7, but doubled the lead midway through the second period, knocking Mikael Samuelsson's harmless-looking point shot past a surprised Deslauriers.

Fantasy Analysis
Nikolai Khabibulin, who was brilliant in a 2-1 victory against the Canucks six days earlier, got a rare game off after stopping 33 shots in a 5-2 loss in Calgary the night before. Despite the loss Sunday, Deslauriers has still only allowed two goals in two starts this season and is looking strong when he does have to play. That could lead to more outings since Khabibulin has been prone to breakdown during the season. Deslauriers is a nice handcuff option for Khabibulin owners and flier in leagues that use average points per game. The Oilers TG is a No. 2 option.
